Pattern and colour are the main foundations in my artwork, influenced by my Indian heritage. In recent works I have been creating a modern twist to the identifiable Indian pattern which has resulted in broadening my practice and subject.

I am currently using geometric patterns in an abstract and bold manner to create overwhelming artworks. They are designed to be elaborate and brave to create a façade contradictory to my personal attributes. I aim to work bigger and bolder to expand horizons of confidence and certainty.

I am interested in the space between art and design, as I am currently on a creative art practice course and working towards creating more decorative works. I get immense pleasure creating and designing patterns but uncertain what the significance behind my artworks was. It is pleasure.
